Did you all have fun last night at the MTV Movie Awards? What was your take on the winners?
“Twilight” owned the night! It won Best Movie, Female Performance, Male Performance, Fight, and Kiss!
The fans are probably over the moon about this. But logically speaking, do you all feel that this film should’ve won all of these awards?
Think about it. Natalie Portman won the Oscar for “Black Swan.” And the kiss between Natalie and Mila was pretty wild. It wasn’t so much romantic, but powerful and eerie.
But K-Stew and Rob Pattinson did gain some laughs with their win. After simple gestures, this year Rob decided to kiss his co-star, Taylor Lautner right in the audience!
And although “Twilight” did grab a good share of awards, it was nice to see Tom Felton win for Best Villain in “Harry Potter.” After all, the Harry Potter genre is absolutely amazing. The series started many, many years ago so it deserved to receive something. Especially since Tom Felton was pretty darn good!
You also got to hand it to Chloe Grace Moretz for her big fight in “Kick-Ass.” A female should always be noticed for showing her strength, especially when she’s a kid. Although her award for Bad-Ass Star is convenient for the title of the movie she won for.
It was also nice to see Reese Witherspoon receive her award for the MTV Generation Award. She’s come a long way over the years. From “The Man In the Moon” to “Water For Elephants,” Reese has made quite an impression in the media. She’s made some great movies with the exception of “Legally Blonde 2″ (which Chelsea Handler forgave her for, in her own words from last night). Did you all see Reese’s movies from when she was super young? If not, check out her first movie, “The Man In the Moon.” And try “Fear.”
