Cocaine And Xanax Found In Whitney Houston’s System At Time Of Death

L.A. County Coroner said today that Whitney Houston‘s cause of death was an accidental drowning. They also announced that even though she didn’t have cocaine in her hotel room there was cocaine in her system when she died.

They reported that “drowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use,” and also claimed it was an “accident”

As far as the drugs in her system, the toxicology report said: “Cocaine and metabolites were identified and were contributory to the death. Marijuana, Alprazolam (Xanax), Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) and Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) were identified but not contribute to the death.”

Somebody part of the investigation claimed that Whitney may have had a heart attack that might have caused her to lose consciousness and drown, and that cocaine could have hardened her arteries that could have triggered the attack. saying it’s “very possible”
