Who said wrestling wasn’t real?
On Monday Night Raw last night, CM Punk took the action into the stands in a Ron Artest/Metta World Peace style brawl that involved a rowdy fan.
During his match, Punk (because that’s what he is, a punk) took offense to a couple of fans getting physical with him after he had climbed into the crowd. Eventually, he snapped, and straight up cold clocked an unsuspecting fan! Needless to say, the fan went down hard.
A rep for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Dept. stated that the man didn’t appear to have any injuries that required medical attention.
Here’s an official statement from the WWE:
“WWE security was unfortunately not in the appropriate place at the time. Given CM Punk’s persona as a ‘bad guy’ fans were naturally heckling him, but unfortunately a few fans began shoving him and one struck him in the kidney and on the back … WWE regrets that proper security measures were not in place, and CM Punk apologizes for reacting in the heat of the moment.”
I didn’t see anyone shoving him. Did you?
CM Punk has said he’s sorry, but honesty… C’mon. This meat head is all hopped up on juice, and takin’ his roid rage into the crowd? Not cool. -StarzUncut
